    Fruits: medium large to large, oval shape, dark blue-colored, with a heavy coating; the flesh is greenish-yellow, firm, juicy, with sweet-sour taste, easily comes off the stone

    Ripening period: late season - early to mid September

    Characteristics: moderately vigorous vine, extremely high fertility; grains are elliptical, large, nice dyed in blue-black color, sharp with expressed wax layer; thin, tough crispy skin; juicy, slightly crispy pulp with sweet harmonious taste and specific flavor; it is advisable to grow on rocky slopes, dry and with good exposure.

    Very delicate variety, susceptible to Powdery mildew, Excoriose, Black rot, Gray mold, grape moth, mites, wasps, cicads, etc., relatively stable to drought and cold; this variety is mostly used in a blend for recent consumption (as young wines); production of less alcoholic wine, poor in acids and color; also suitable for fresh consumption.

    Ripening period: considerably late season - in September, one week before Merlot and Carignan

    Characteristics: very vigorous vine, suitable for high-stem growing, early and quite good bearing; grains are small, spherical and black-colored, covered with strong wax layer; thick and firm skin, healthy, crispy pulp having peculiar astringent taste;

    The vine is susceptible to Oidium and Excoriose; average sensitive to drought and prone to crumbling of the grains when overripe; resistant to low temperatures and Gray rot, moderately susceptible to Mildew.
